Menu Bar does not show above Flash

I created a spry horizontal menu bar with drop down menus. I have a flash movie directly below it. I did the WMODE to make the flash movies background disappear. It looks fine in Internet Explorer but the drop down menus hide in all other browers (Safari, Firefox, etc.). Can someone please help me.
