Metadata from JPG

I would like to get the Date Taken from the metadata from a jpg image taken with a digital SLR. Is there any ASP or Java script you are aware of that can help me? I've spent four hours searching on-line and found only complete applications. I just want the portion that provides the Date Taken so I can apply it to my ASP page.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Probably better asking this in the more traveled Dreamweaver general group, or the Application Dev group.

A search for "asp exif" (where exif is the metadata in JPG files (I believe) returned this page as the first result:
http://www.spaz.com/mr/work/aspexiffuncs/

There a link at the top of the page to download the code. Haven't used it so can't vouch for how well it does it's job.

I got to that page before but didn't read it thoroughly. I downloaded the application and I'll try it tomorrow. I'll let you know how it worked for me.

Thank you very much.

It did work. I'm just fussing around with some extra details. My pages are always somewhat complicated, but they do what I want them to do.

Thanks again.
