Navbar dropdown not showing up

Hi,

I don't see my dropdown menu on the mobile phone..

If anyone could help me figgure out what Im doing wrong, that would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Sandra Dolcezza,

1.  There are 52 code errors and warnings on that page alone starting on line #1 with your document type.  Code errors are the primary reason for failures.  See details below.

2. Spry Menu is dead, Adobe gave up on it ages ago.  The Spry scripts haven't been touched by anyone in 15 years.  And they are not relevant with modern web devices & browsers.  At the very least, you should replace Spry menu with something newer.

3. Given the age of your code, I'm assuming you're using outdated software which doesn't help you.  And I have to wonder how many other things in your site have outlived their relevance.  This might be a good opportunity to re-assess and get up to speed with better tools (Dreamweaver CC 2021) that produce modern code and contain built-in support for responsive frameworks like Bootstrap.  HTML5 code + Bootstrap's responsive navbars will work on ALL devices.

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for the links.

When I started out with Dreamweaver CC, a few issues with the code discouraged me and I went back to CS6.

Maybe a few bugs have been fixed..

Will look into applying updates to the code, although, with a few other sites under the same format not giving me the same issue.. makes me wonder if I could save some time with just a tweak, as this is not my profession.

The quick fix is to remove code errors from Template.dwt files and child pages.   Always validate code often during editing sessions to keep coding mistakes to a minimum. 

Spry Menu is still the worst thing you could possibly use because mobile device users will have a bad experience with it.

I managed to fix it by updating script src from http to https.

I will however update my software and use your link to verify my code.
