Need help with access denied problem

Hello,

My laptop just died and I have transfered all of my files to an external drive "J". Now I am using my desktop which has dreamweaver in it and accessing my dreamweaver files from my laptop with the new external darive "J". I can access them, I can connect to the server. But when I try to save the changes on the page I am working on it says "Access to "J" denied. I can't figure out how to fix this. Any thoughts? I really need to update my website!

It sounds like your external has a system setting of 'Read Only' for
the drive, folder, or file or a combination.
