I haven't done web design for years, and am new to CSS. Last used some ancient Windows version of DreamWeaver, though I also own CS6 on a Mac that died years ago and I can't afford to replace. Installed DreamWeaver CC and mistakenly chose the 'Intermediate' level instead of 'Beginner.' I'm completely lost. Hoping that if I start over with the initial setup, that perhaps there will be more helpers to guide me, explain things more clearly and completely. I don't want to be constantly looking for online helpers to explain every new concept or terminology. Of course, I have no idea if this will actually help my old brain to figure this stuff out, but it's worth a try...
The question: Is there a way to go back to that point, or simply to change my preference to beginner level, without having to uninstall/reinstall?
Thanks for any suggestions.

There is no such thing as user levels in Dreamweaver. Help files are on-line so that they can be quickly updated with each new version of Dreamweaver.
You will need to have a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to use Dreamwevare. This may help https://www.w3schools.com/html/ and https://www.w3schools.com/css/

If you haven't worked with modern code before, you have some catching up to do in HTML5 and CSS.
Read the chapters, work with code examples, take quizzes at the end.
