Odd characters in design view CS6

While the html appears correct, the corresponding characters appear like jibberish in design view.

Looks like a corrupted font.  Try selecting another one.

Edit > Preferences > Fonts.  See screenshot.

  • CS6 is outdated software from 2012, not sold or supported.
  • CS6 hasn't been updated in 12 years.
  • Design View is not 100% accurate.
  • Switch to Live view or preview in real browsers.

If the problem persists in real browsers, the document probably contains coding errors that need to be resolved.
