Paid download button, free upload button

Hi Chaps,

Does anyone know how to add a button to a website where people can pay to download files? Any advice would be nice.

There's nothing built into DW that can do this for you.

Look into Paypal payment processing for digital files. That would likely be the cheapest route, otherwise you'll need a developer to create a secure store for you that only allows downloading after payment is received.

Many thanks. I can do the Paypal button, but was looking for something a bit slicker and, as you say, download after payment. Could I use the "view" to see the code and copy and paste (or similar with detail changes) that into my own?

You can use custom buttons with Paypal code, sure. There are more than a few sites out there explaining how to do that.
