I would like to use Dreamweaver to create some simple PHP-based apps. I am a total beginner who owns CS5.
My question: Should I incur the cost of upgrading to CS6 or will CS5 suffice for someone like me? I have searched the various reviews and "comparisons" of CS5 vs CS6, so I am aware of the enhancements found in the later versions of Dreamweaver. But none of the reviews or comparisons mention any new PHP-related features or functionality.
What y'all opinions?

Adobe has gone to an upgrade ever version policy ( http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/faq/upgrade-policy.html ). So with that said, CS6 is your last chance to upgrade. Once CS6.5 is announced you will no longer be allowed to upgrade per the new policy. The only other option is to lease the software on the cloud. You pay a monthly fee, but you never own a license to the program. As long as you pay you can use the software, once you stop paying so does the software. The Cloud is fairly limited right now with only the full suite available at $49.99 or individual programs available at $29.99 per month with 1 year term commitments. Nothing in between at the moment.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
