PHP shopping cart.

LEGEND ,
May 18, 2006 May 18, 2006
OK - in the past I have always used the Ultracart, ASP only ... but clients
of mine are looking to use PHP... I know this has probably been asked
before, but it changes all the time - and I reccomended to a mate RawVeg
some time back, but the site hasn't been updated since Sept 03 ...

Whats the current reccomenation?

Also is their something the same as Enterprise Manager for MySQL ?
especially for free!

Hi,
There are several extensions for shopping cart in Dreamweaver

InterAKT MX Kommerce
http://www.interaktonline.com/Products/Bundles/MXKommerce/Overview/

WebAssit eCart
http://www.webassist.com/professional/products/productdetails.asp?PID=71

Felixone X-cart
http://www.felixone.it/extensions/extdetailen.asp?application=%25&environment=%25&Submit=Search&cate...

I couldn't give you an un-biased comparison, but I think you will find
enough information in the website to make a comparison

Ooops. I forgot about Cartweaver, even if I know they have a PHP
version, somehow they're still "very ColdFusion" to my mind

I hope Tom and the rest of the Cartweaver guys won't get angry

this is based on little evidence ...

But is it me or is CF slowly disapearing ? with PHP and .net really becoming
the two languages that are winning the most favour ... ?

Anyhow, I am going to take a look at all - and still try and persuade my
client that I can do it in ASP in half the time for half the money ...!

Actually ColdFusion is bigger now than it has ever been, but it still has a
much smaller user base than PHP or ASP.NET.

CF lets you pump out applications very fast. It's my server of choice.
