Preview in safari looks like there's no css after Mojave update

I have CC 2014 and up to now it has all been going good.

I updated to Mojave yesterday and today I have noticed that when I try to preview a page it looks as though all of the CSS has been removed. Images too are also missing. If I preview in Firefox it opens and looks as intended.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks in advance!

You're behind on updates. The latest macOS is Catalina, not Mojave.

The current version of DW is 2020, not 2014.

Do you have the latest updates for Safari? Have you cleared the cache memory?

Is your code free of errors -- denoted by a green checkmark in a circle under your document?

Hi Nancy

Thank you for replying.

Everything is up to date except the OS. I have read that Catalina causes all sorts of problems so am trying to avoid it.

CC2014 is one I have been using for a long time and further upgrades will be an added cost I dont really want to add especially as I am not making any money from it as in a business.

Is there much difference between 2014 and 2020?

Thanks in advance!

"CC2014 is one I have been using for a long time and further upgrades will be an added cost..."

2020 is included in your Creative Cloud Plan.  There is nothing extra to buy.  And it will run on Mojave.

See system requirements for Creative Cloud+ all other apps you use.

Thank you for your help and yes the screenshot does look very different! I like the green checkmark to say that the code is all good.

I think also that the problem is that Apple are withdrawing support for 32Bit apps and CC2014 is a 32Bit.

Been looking into a new iMac as mine is 4 years so that might be the time to upgrade Dreamweaver too.

Thanks for your help!

It's true that Catalina does not support 32-bit apps.

Catalina is compatible with Dreamweaver versions 19.2.1 and higher.

In the meantime, you can use DW 2020 on Mojave.
