Same font also in smartphone

I'd like to have a web site with "Times new" font.

I set this font in the .css file in this way:

  font-family: "Times Roman";

  font-size: 14px;

  line-height: 1.42857143;

  color: #333;

  background-color: #fff;

}

and this work properly  on the web also ipad but not in the smatphone that show the font like "Arial".

I'm missing something?

Is there a way to set also in the smartphone the same font that I have on the web?

Use a full font-stack to support the widest number of devices.

Font Times it is ok on OS Mac and  chrome and safari also ipad  (times ok)

Smartphone with android  (only Arial)

Android's have their own system fonts --  Roboto and Droid.   If you want to change fonts, you'll have to do it through your phone settings.
