I am attempting to create a database in Microsoft Access 97 for asp development in Dreamweaver MX 2004. Should the database be exported from access to a certain file type or just be saved in the Microsoft Access normal format?

Thanks again!

It sounds like this is the firsttime you have done this. If so you might want to learn how to set up your system with IIS. That is the only way to get your pages to work with a database when you preview on your system.

You need to set permissions / install IIS in control panel. reply if you need help
