Select+drag+option not copying code in Dreamweaver CC 19

I can't select+drag+option code in the code view area and in the Find and Replace area, it only works in Design view. It even shows the green plus sign while doing that, but it only moves the selected code, it doesn't leave a copy behind. DW CC 19, macOs High Sierra 10.13.6.

Have you tried: select + command + drag ?

I'm on Windows 10 and select + ctrl + drag seems to work to a fashion in code view
