If you have a problem with an extension, you can always try
deleteing your user Configuration folder. This is where all
extensions and modifications are written too. You need to quit
Dreamweaver, delete the folder, then lauch Dreamweaver and you
should be good to go.
On Mac the folder you want is
Hard disk: Users: <username>: Library: Application
Support: Macromedia: Dreamweaver 8: Configuration
Windows:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration
