Hello,

Anybody knows where is the "Show invisible files" option in Dreamweaver CC2018 to display files like .htaccess in the "Files" panel?

It was previously located in a dropdown menu at top right of the "Files" panel, but this panel has been redesigned in CC2018 and i can't find the dropdown anymore.

Thanks for your infos.

Files in the panel are shown as per setting in the operating system. Dreamweaver does not have a setting as far as I know.

Wappler, the only real Dreamweaver alternative.

Sorry, not sure i understand your answer.
If i create a .htaccess file locally in DW, it shows in the "Local files" left column although MacOS doesn't show those files beggining by a dot in its Finder.

There's already a .htaccess on my server, but DW doesn't show it in the "Distant server" right column.

If i copy my local .htaccess to distant server in DW, it appears in the DW "Distant server" right column… a bit strange behavior.

I'm pretty sure DreamWeaver used to have a "Show invisible files" option in the "Files" panel, but i can't find it neither in DW CC2015.

It should have been removed by Adobe at some point.

Anyway, thanks for your answer.

Birnou, thanks for your screenshot that put me on the track: this dropdown is still in DW CC2018, that's the good news.

But it's still tricky to reach it too, no thanks to Adobe for their weird UI sometimes:

- Switch "Files" panel display by clicking on the "Reduce to display only local or distant site" button (just before the search box).

- Then the dropdown appears at top right of the "Files panel".
