transferring files

hi guys, I'm having massive issues transferring files to the ftp. I have run into issues with the ftp url I was told to use. I had to create another url, connected successfully. However now when I click the put button to transfer the pages nothung happens. Any ideas on what i can do?

Hi,

Could you please confirm if you have write access to the remote folder. Also, try switching to Remote server from the server drop-down in the Files panel and confirm if you are able to Get the remote files.

Also, can you please share us the FTP log for checking the errors occuring on performing Put operation.

Are you sure this is not a problem on the server? 

Can you connect to server with a 3rd party FTP client like Filezilla?

Is your site's server properly defined with correct log-in details and root directory?  See screenshot.

Site > Manage Sites, Server, Root Directory

Click on the TEST button to confirm you are able to connect to your hosting server. 

Failing that, contact your host.
