I don't use GoDaddy...
Normally the ISP has to set their DNS to point both names to
the same IP
address. In the case where they are using shared IP address
(virtual
domains) they also have edit the site headers. So, you may
not be able to do
this from a user's control panel.
Also, now that Google has implimented their new software,
they will consider
two names pointing to the same material as two sperate web
sites with
duplicate materal and may drop one or the other or both from
their data set.
You can handle Google by using 301 redirects.
