Unable to connect to remote server

Hi,

I'ts been some tome since I last logged in to my site adn now I get the follwoing error:

An FTP error...cannot open server folder.

I asked the site support for assistance, they alsked me to try both "/home/vcmeospf/domains/dnd-production.com/public_html/" & "public_html/" as the specified root directory (""public_html/"  ws the one which always used to wokr.

They also resett the folder permission.

I tried looging in, usign the same credintial, wiht FileZilla and had no problem connecting.

I tried disablinbg my firewall and it did not solve th eissue.

The user name & passworkd are correct. If I try another password I ger an error telling me the password is wrong.

What else Can I try?

It's a while since l used Dreamweaver for ftping files to a server  but there used to be an option to connect using 'passive ftp' - if that is still available as an option try that.

I wonder if your site is defined correctly.  See screenshot.

Click the TEST button to confirm connection.

Failing that, click on More Options.

If you're still not succeeding, open your FTP log and tell us what errors are reported.

My server is define properly.

I had not touched it sicne my last connection.

However, setting these optons as you suggested solved the problem, thank you.
