I am trying to add the Google Toolkit extension but I need to uninstall an older version first. For some reason it won't let me uninstall it. It says there is another program using it but there isn't. Is there another way of uninstalling it or any other suggestions please.

Typically this message only occurs if you have more than one version of Dreamweaver installed and the extension is enabled in at least two versions. So if you have DW8 and DWCS3 and the extension is installed in both, and you want to completely remove the extension, open Extension Manager then change to DW8 uncheck the extension. Change to DWCS3 and uncheck the extension. Repeat until all versions are unchecked. then select the extension and click the delete button.

If you still see this message after doing the uncheck on all versions of DW, then I'd suggest trying to reinstall the extension and trying again to uninstall.

Thanks. It was just as you said. I had 2 versions of Dreamweaver. It's now working. Unfortunately the extension does not work in the UK. Google API does not support UK yet.
Thanks for your help
