30% of Google's codebase is Python. I won't go near PHP if I don't have to and I know that sounds snobby but I really prefer Python.

Any chance there is something in the works to support our slick friend Python in Dreamweaver?

Dreamweaver is principally a web design tool, although it offers a good
coding environment for a number of web-related languages. Since Python
is a back-end language, I would imagine it's not the highest of the
Dreamweaver team's priorities. Still, if you want them to consider it,
the place to let them know is by submitting a feature request through
the official form:

I understand that it is principally a web design tool... however it supports PHP which is a back-end language and so since they have gone down that road I am wondering if they are going to invite others to the party.

Every time I set up a new site in DW it asks me "Do you want to use a server technology?" I always want to say yes but I know that Python is not an option on the subsequent screen if I do. So I just say yes in my head and then click no... then when I embed Python in the page using DW it doesn't know what to do with it and all sorts of silliness ensues.

Thanks for the feature request link though I will use it.
