Hi,
You should use the Macromedia Extensions Manager to install
your
DreamWeaver extension. If you do this from within
DreamWeaver, you'll have
to restart the application.
I'm not sure what you mean by setting permissions within
DreamWeaver. If you
are trying to change the permissions on your web server, you
need to use the
tools that the ISP provides to do that. You should have a
remote login
capability such as SSH, telnet, etc, or you may have a tool
called cPanel.
If you need help with that, you should call your ISP tech
support line. If
they won't help, save yourself a lot of trouble and get a
different ISP.
