This may have been answered at some point, but I can't seem to find it after searching the threads.
I'm currently taking a beginning DW course. I've been doing the exercises on my Imac desktop up till this point with no issues. I also have a laptop with DW that has the same icloud account as the desktop, and all the files seem to stay current on both computers, except for the site definitions (I can't find them on the laptop when opening DW). I would like to do some work on the laptop when on the go.
My question is: do I have to define the site again on the laptop in order to work on the same materials that I would on the desktop? Or should I just avoid trying to do work on a specific site on different computers?

Hope that helps. Post back if you run into any problems.

To work on site files, the physical files must reside on your local computer's hard drive. This is so Dreamweaver can properly manage assets and file paths for you.
When using two devices to work on same site files, you must transport files from computer A to computer B and vice versa.
For convenience, some people upload files to their remote server and GET files (down arrow) from server. Or they use Dreamweaver's File Check-in/out feature. See below.
