Is it possable to use xml to create user lists that can then be searched to allow access to a section of a site like you can do with asp? I would prefer not to use any database stuff on a site i am currently working on but need a secured login area.

Any ideas??

Sure .. you can use XML as the data source. If you have DW8, you can even
do it right in the Dreamweaver Interface.
