visitor counter

Hi,

Can someone please give me the code for this , I would like to put it on our main page. I have read other posts here regarding this, and I know they dont' recommend doing this. We are already using analytics.. but our Marketing Department would like to see the actual visitor counter also on the page...

What server side scripting language are you using? Just search the web for hit counter.

Thanks, but I didn't want to use a hit counter off the web that has to advertise their site.

There are tons are free hit counter scripts that do not have any adverts.

OK, that seems like way overkill for a hit counter.
