My GALLERY links work perfectly within my computer, but now that the website is uploaded, all of the GALLERY links are broken. Why? WHY?

You have .JPG as the extension for your image instead of .jpg - as I said in a previous post make sure the file name and the link to the images ARE identical

The images folder and the gallery folder are both loaded within the johncavaseno folder. I don't know why links to the images folder work, but links to the gallery folder do not. See image.

Are the images actually in the gallery folder, have you checked?

For instance:

I can find the pdf in the 'resume' folder:

http://www.johncavaseno.com/resume/jcResume.pdf

But if I attempt to get to the .docx file in the same folder:

http://www.johncavaseno.com/resume/johnResume.docx

Yes, the images are all there.Though I did notice that under "type" it says "text/x-generic". I even used File Manager to re-upload one of the images, but I still get the broken link.

Maybe re-create one of the images, test and see if they appear - obviously the browser is not recognising that they exist at the address where they should be.

Check the naming convention is exactly the same as that of the link name.

Here's another link with the exact same website loaded, but here it works. But I need it to work on my site.

Have you had a look in your remote directory to see if the images are there?

I doubt I will get a reply but an interesting approach to constructing a website, any reason why?

One reason would be to 'shield' the website from a possible 'novice' getting their hands on it because they probably would not know what they were looking for if they had to maintain it.

That is what makes web-development so difficult these days - where once it was mostly just plain old html/css, now there are numerous approaches to be found. Can one even label themselves as a web-developer any longer given most will only know a fraction of the techniques being deployed.....hummmm.
