Why is my dreamweaver 2020 not opening on my mac?

I updated to dreamweaver 2020 and since that time I've been unable to open any version of the program on my mac. I can't even uninstall D2020 because it keeps telling me to close dreamweaver cc first, but it's not even open. Help!

  • After installing 2020, did you restart your computer?
  • Also ensure that your Mac user profile has administrative level permissions.
