Chris,
Can you check if your sync settings are working fine?
Can you share a snapshot of sync settings.
Thanks,
Lalita

I'm having the same problem with the Extract screen completely grayed out. Nothing. I tried loggin in, quitting DW and then logging back in with no luck. Attached is a screen shot of the Extract panel and preferences. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I am just now checking out Dreamweaver, after not using it for a long time, and while I love the extract feature, or at least the thought of it, I am having the same issue as the above. Please Help
Sincerely,
Jessica

Jessica,
Your Extract panel is disabled because there is no HTML page is open.
Please open any html page and use Extract panel.
thanks,
Lalita

If you go to file > new, this should allow you to start a new project. The extract function should work from there.

This is how my Extract panel looks like. There doesn't seem to be any options at all! As you can see, I do have an HTML page open.
I am running CC on a PC.

Hi Inayal,
I saw this advice already on this topic so I tried that first. Sorry, no effect.
When I open DW I can see a few seconds the 'extract icon ' (the layers with the arrow up) but this disappears and the extract box remains empty. No navigation or so available...

As I asked earlier, sync settings working fine?
Are you in filtered environment?
Can you white list the url https://cc-api-image.adobe.io and then check Extract behavior after restarting DW?
thanks,
Lalita

All sync settings work fine (as far as I can see). All app's up to date.
Should I get this message in my browser: {"error_code":"401013","message":"Oauth token is not valid"} when I click on your link?

Not sure about the message on clicking on the url but whitelisting that url on your system may resolve your issue as it did for some of the other users.
I would recommend to give it a try.

I am sorry, Inayal, but before now I never heard of 'whitelisting' 😉 I would like to try but how/where do I do that?

whitelisting url means add the url as trustworthy for your filtered environment.
feel free to ping back in case of questions.

Hi,
I'm having this same problem. I have an html page open and am trying to use the extract panel, but it gets hung up after I click the upload PSD button. It just says "Hi, Welcome to Extract. Loading"
Our school district purchased a license for our 10 high school campuses to use Dreamweaver CC in our Web Tech course. What do I need to tell tech support to do in order to be able to access and use the Extract Panel. I saw something about "sync settings" but I don't know what that is. Our students don't "login" to Adobe, so logging out and logging back in isn't an option. They have us set up so that we don't have to use an Adobe ID
.

Actually for Extract to work, you need to be signed in with an Adobe ID. It doesn't necessarily need to have a CC subscription though.

Me too. it doesn't get any further than "Hi! Welcome to extract. Loading..."
