Why would the Put menu option be grayed out?

I have been trying all day to get PHP to work in Dreamweaver CS4 to work, and in trying EVERYTHING to get it to work I have obviously inadvertently changed something that has caused the Put menu to be grayed out.

I am now at the poitnof desperation.

Can anyone offer any advice?

I fixed it by uninstalling Dreamweaver and reinstalling it!
