Will this operate on Windows 10?
It is not certified for W10, but many people run it there without much issue.

LOl, I've always thought the current programmers at Adobe were, in fact, quite certifiable ![]()
No, there are absolutely no issues running CS6 on Windows 10... unless one is opposed to fast and reliable apps.

3 or 4 months ago i would have agreed that CS6 runs without problems, but since the last update to windows 10 no.

Runs fine for us, on 4 separate machines, each running the latest builds of Windows 10. No issues at all.
2 laptops + 2 desktops. The post you cite seems to be an anomalous and isolated user error. We also have thousands of customers using pre-CC versions of Dreamweaver going back to CS3 on Windows 10 without incident.

Would you belive that ultra dev 4 runs without major problems though ![]()
Admitedly the ftp does not work, but everything else is fine.

Did you find an ftp that did work?

If anyone was still using ultra dev, then they only need to use filezilla for ftp.

Absolutely. Actually, it will run considerably faster and be more stable than any of the newer versions. We are the oldest developer of commercial Dreamweaver extensions, and here at PVII we use only CS6 for production work. We use CC only for testing. It is typical of modern Adobe software in that it is bloated, slow, and full of unresolved bugs. Adobe has also removed many useful features, while adding one significant feature: the ability to use the most bloated and complicated free CSS library: Bootstrap
.
CS6 will be fine for years to come... at least on Windows.
