I just installed Dreamweaver CC 2017 on my Windows 10 PC and now it crashes every time I try to add a recordset or Insert a record behavior to an ASP page. Any ideas on how to fix this? I think Adobe took an very good product and has made it far less flexible and far more difficult to work with. Does anyone know if the DMXZone ASP extensions work more seamlessly than trying to reactivate something Adobe wants dead?
Thanks for any help or guidance!
You would be better asking in the DMXZone forums.
Classic asp support is (or has) being removed from all web dev programs I have seen lately, so I don't think support will get better in Dw future versions.

Since support isn't likely to get "better", another valid option, at least in the short term, would be to grab a copy of the previous version of DW that did work for you with ASP.
As part of your paid subscription, you can have all cloud versions installed on the same machines at the same time, all the way back to CS6 Cloud. They just won't run at the same time, so in order to use the more recent features, you'd need to close the older version and open a newer. For better ASP support, you'd close the newer and open the older.
