I've been using Contribute to edit my website for at least 10 years. Now for the last 3 months I can't get in, Contribute doesn't accept my login Info and I can't figure it out.
I've heard that D Weaver has a wysiwyg editor built in. I don't know anything about coding so will I be able to use the wysiwyg function in D Weaver? Will there be much of a learning curve, with me coming from Contribute??
Can I get a trial version of D Weaver to try it out?
Try it. But don't expect an accurate WYSIWYG in Design view. At best, it's an approximation. And if you want to do anything advanced, you'll need to pay attention to the code with Split view.
In all fairness, Adobe Muse is aimed at non-coders. The learning curve is not difficult. However you can't use Muse to edit existing web sites. It's not an HTML editor, it's a generator. Different tools aimed at very different user levels.

If your computer meets min requirements, you can join Creative Cloud free for 7 days & download DW CC 2017. Yes, there is a learning curve. DW is aimed at designers who know how to work with code. Basic skills with HTML, CSS and to a lesser extent JavaScript are required. Without any prior knowledge of coding fundamentals, your learning experience will be long and difficult. Learn to work with code first. You'll be glad you did.

Thanks for that Nancy. I don't want to learn coding, but would like to use the wysiwyg function in D Weaver, so would just using that be much of a learning curve?

Dreamweaver is not WYSIWYG. No HTML editor is.
