Code coloring stopped after rgba, DW 2017

After I minified my css file online (DW 2017 thought that minifying shouldn't be included in this version any more???) all code became white after a rgba. See screenshot.

Maybe the Adobe team team can look at this bug. In the meanwhile, is it possible to fix this myself?

Hi everyone,

Please update to the latest version of Dreamweaver 2017.0.1 where most issues with code coloring have been addressed.

See Dreamweaver 2017.0.1 is now live  for more info.

I found out it's actually not the rgba that triggers the code coloring to stop, but it stops when you have a minified large ccs file after character number 10.121.

I have filed a bug report.

Most issues, but not this one. Just minify a large css file and you'll see after character 10000+ all the css becomes white.

Apply Source Formatting and you will see that the colouring returns. On two other editors that I have used (Brackets and Sublime Text) both show the same, i.e. lose the colouring when the file has been compressed.

I am not saying that the colouring should be lost, just saying that this is not unique to Dreamweaver plus it is not a problem as far as I am concerned. I do not work with the compressed file, I work in a Less/Sass file and with the latest version of Dreamweaver, the file gets saved as a compressed CSS file.

There are two work-arounds if you do not work with Less/Sass

1. Apply Source Formatting, work on the file and save as compressed.

2. Give the expanded version an extension of .scss and Dreaweaver will automatically save a compressed version. To modify the styles, continue using the .scss file

Hi Ben,

I copied the contents in the css file and created a .scss file and pasted everything in there. But when I modify this .scss file I can't find the compressed version. It's not in the same folder as the .scss file. Where can I find it?
