Condivido le mie impressioni su Dreamweaver CC 2017

Buon giorno,

ho usato in prova per 15 giorni Dreamweaver 2017 CC con il quale volevo sostituire Dreamweaver CS6.

Tra le tante ottime funzioni del programma la possibilità di validare le pagine è molto comoda, ma con Dreamweaver CS6 non è possibile validare HTML5 ed è per questo che volevo sostituirlo (possibile che non ci sia un piccolo aggiornamento per consentirlo, chi ha scritto il codice del programma dovrebbe essere in grado di includere anche questa opzione?).

Sono rimasto deluso in primis per l'enorme quantità di memoria RAM utilizzata, secondariamente per la lentezza di esecuzione anche con poche pagine aperte (il mio pc, di produzione 2016, ha un processore I7, 8gb di ram, 2gb disco rigido), infine con la elaborazione di molti files non tutte le operazioni vanno a buon fine.

Normalmente il nuovo tende a migliorare il vecchio e ne mantiene le compatibilità.

Ringrazio chi in questi giorni mi ha aiutato.

Sorry to say, the validation tool in CS6 won't be updated.

You will need to use the W3C  Online Validation service or get the Web Developer Add-On for Firefox. This add-on allows you to validate local files from your browser.

in effetti procedo così.

L'esoso consumo di RAM è comunque inaccettabile.

Io ho cominciato ad usare il vecchio Macromedia 8 e francamente nei vari aggiornamenti seguiti con Dreamweaver ho sempre trovato all'incirca sempre le stesse funzionalità con, però, un progressivo appesantimento del software; se riscontro io problemi con hardware abbastanza recente, cosa succede per gli jtenti che hanno pc datati?

Un software non deve essere necessariamente pesante per essere buono.

My current PC is about 2 years old and I have no memory problems in Dreamweaver.  All work files are on my primary hard drive.   If you have other processes running in the background such as real-time antivirus scans or data backups,  try turning them off. 

See system requirements.  Keep in mind that the recommendations below are minimum standards.  You need additional resources to support Windows, graphics display + any other applications you use.

Grazie per l'interessamento al mio problema.

Ho deciso di restare con Dreaweaver CS6 sperando, ma non tanto, che qualcuno snellisca e riporti all'essenziale un software che è stato e potrebbe ancora essere il migliore in assoluto.

La tendenza ad appesantire il software è comune a molte case produttrici ma, come ho già espresso in precedenza, software ottimo non deve essere necessariamente esoso in risorse.

Le parlo da ex softwarista che per 40 anni ha usato RPG da I a IV, Fortran, Cobol, con la produzione di migliaia di applicativi su macchine IBM, UNISIS, SPERRY, e i miei pacchetti applicativi erano sempre basati sulla semplicità di uso e con codice semplice.

I decided to stay with Dreaweaver CS6 hoping, but not so much, that someone slows down and brings to the essentials a software that has been and could still be the best ever.

The tendency to weigh the software is common to many manufacturers, but as I have already said, great software does not have to be resource-rich.

I've talked to him as a former software developer who has used RPGs from I to IV, Fortran, Cobol for over 40 years, with the production of thousands of applications on IBM, UNISIS, SPERRY and my application packages were always based on ease of use and code simple.
