I’m a casual user of Dreamweaver I’m having to reload from scratch. I’m ask to register Dreamweaver. I bought from Macromedia do I need to contact Adobe when I still have an old license from Macromedia.  I could not get into Adobe with my old ID & PW.  What happens to old lic after Adobe bought Macromedia?

Dreamweaver 4 was never supported by Adobe. It was EOL'd by Macromedia before the acquisition.

The program is over 18 years old, if you can install it and run it, you'll be ahead of the game. There's no way to register it anymore, so if it offers you the ability to skip registration, skip it.
