Dreamweaver 20.1 lagging when active

Hi all

I've updated to the most recent version of Dreamweaver (20.1 15211 build) and every time I activate it (make it the active window and try to do anything) it hangs, lags, and takes a fair few seconds up to about a minute to become responsive again.
This happens every time I open it or make it the active window again.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, updating, clearing the cache (Windows 10) and nothing has worked.  The only workaround I have is to use an older version of Dreamweaver.

As above, using Windows 10 Pro, 8Gb RAM, Intel Core i5 processor
Any help with this is greatly appreciated

Did you Restore Preferences?

When all else fails, revert to a previous version.

Thank you, I have also tried restoring preferences multiple times but this hasn't fixed the issue either.  I'm currently relying on version 19 - thankfully that doesn't have an issue

If restoring preferences doesn't help, reach out to Adobe's Customer Care directly.

One of their technicians would likely be able to find what's conflicting with DW on your system. You can contact them via chat here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
