Dreamweaver 20 no longer supports tab Live Preview

This worked fine in DW 19 but now DW 20 has no preview of any sort of tab feature in the Live view such as zozo tabs. Adobe bring that back please! You click on a tab you no longer get the preview of that tab. Design view still useless in pretty much every way. Had to revert back to 19.

I don't know what you mean.  Can you please post a screenshot of what's missing?

And is the code error-free?

No errors in the code. Here you can see in Live view I have the third tab selected but it is still showing the contents of the first tab. It does not give you a live preview of the tabs anymore.DW20_tabs_ss.jpg

This screen shot is from DW19 and you can see the third tab selected and showing those contents.

OK, looks like Live View isn't responding to clicking on the javascript menus in your page in CC2020.

It's hard to say why it might be having issues with your menu, without being able to see the entire code.

Could you post a link to your work in progress?

Does it make a difference if you Ctrl/Cmnd + Click or double-click the menu item?

Well yes cmd+click works for 2020

Single regular click works for 2019 as usual.

Why the change?

Thank you

We'll probably never know the answer to that, even if someone from the dev team were to stop by the forum.

My gues is that it's an "accidental feature update" when they changed something else.

Glad they left some version of the functionality in there for you.

What menu are you using?

I haven't run across the same behavior in any of my pages yet. It would be interesting to take a look and see if there's something specific to the code you're using that's forcing the need for the Ctrl+Click. I'm thinking the improvements they've made to the Live View Editor in 2020 have something to do with it though.
