I have Dreamweaver 8 suite.  I am purchasing a new laptop and want to know if I update the Dreamweaver software  to 8.02 if it will still work with the windows 10 64bit and will I still be able to manage the web pages that I already have.

Yes & no.  DW 8 (aka CS2.3) is very old software from 2005.  It was never meant to run on newer operating systems so some features may not work as well as they did on XP.  You can try it but there are no guarantees.

HTML, CSS and JavaScript code have changed a lot in 13 years.  While you can maintain legacy sites in any code editor,  I think you would be better served with a newer editor that understands modern code.  Either Dreamweaver CC or Brackets.
