Dreamweaver CC

i was using Dreamweaver cc to create a website and i had decided to use one of Dreamweaver's templates and once i was finished with added my content, i had clicked "save" but then the whole site messed up and nothing would load correctly.

Does anyone know why this has happened?

      <p>George Raymond Richard Martin, often referred to as George R. R. He is best known for his series of epic fantasy novels. Martin began selling science fiction short stories professionally in 1970, at age 21. His first sale was "The Hero", sold to Galaxy magazine and published in its February 1971 issue; other sales soon followed. His first story to be nominated for the Hugo Award and Nebula Awards was "With Morning Comes Mistfall", published in 1973 in Analog magazine. His first novel, Dying of the Light, was published in 1977. </p>

      <p>Toni Morrison is an American novelist, essayist, editor, teacher, and professor emeritus at Princeton University. The Good Part:

I cannot fault the code that you have shown.

The Bad Part:

I was hoping that, after seeing the code, I would be able to figure out what you meant when you stated "the whole site messed up and nothing would load correctly". But so far I have not been able to discover any problem.

Could you explain in more detail what was messed up and what did not load properly in which device. Please inlcude the version of Dreamweaver and your operating system in the answer.

Wappler, the only real Dreamweaver alternative.

When developing a website, you are usually confronted with two servers, namely

  1. local server for development
  2. remote server to publish the site

Are you using a webserver for testing/development?  Or are you just double-clicking the file and opening it in a browser so that the URL field starts with "file://..."?
