Dreamweaver crashes too often

Dreamweaver is constantly crashing especially when a .js file is linked or being opened.  Seems to be .js files from Animate that are especially problematic.  Anyone else having issues like this.

have you tried Restoring Preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver.html ?

That will usually clear up odd behavior similar to what you describe.

Thanks Jon, that worked. Now can I go back to using Dreamweaver instead of Notepad.
