Dreamweaver Files un-alphabetized

All of a sudden, the file photos inside my LOCAL files Folders are completely randomly listed under their Folders.  This is true for all of the hundreds of folders in my local files. They are still alphabetically listed in the matching folders on my remote server!  This is crazy after 28 years on my web site using Dreamweaver.  When a folder only contains a few pictures, it is not difficult to find which one I want to "put" to the Remote Server.  But some of my folders have dozens of photos.  There are some 24,000 files on my site.

Did I do something to screw up my Folder contents? - More importantly, how can I get the individual files back in order?

Thanks for any help here....

Clicking on Local Files in the files panel should sort the files.
