DW CC 2019 doesn't remember View > Split settings

All my files are set to Split Vertically, Design view on the right.

DW 2019 opens all files as Split Horizontally.

After changing the Split settings, they are not saved when closing the files. The files are still open as Split Horizontally.

I'm back to CC 2018 (which initially had the same issue when released).

Have you restarted the program and machine since installing?

Give that a try if you haven't.

If you have, and it's still not remembering your preference, you may need to clear a bad cache file, or restore preferences...

Deleting a corrupted cache file

Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences.

Did you save your updated workspace under Window > Workspace Layout > New Workspace...

Mine wouldn't remember either, under the default Workspaces.

Once I saved a new workspace, it remembers everything fine.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jon.

However, I just tried it and it didn't make any difference - the split view state is not saved.

Thanks Jon,

Resetting preferences (by holding down Cmd + Option + Shift while launching Dreamweaver) solved the issue.

All files now open with their current split settings.

Thanks again for your help!
