F12 no longer brings up with URL - "Device Preview" vs Page title in browser

I just updated my DreamWeaver and now when I try to view pages using F12 the URL now shows up a #########/preview/app/index.html instead of my actual development site url and the page title shows up as "Device Preview".

How do I get my F12 functionality back to the way it was before the update? I often have to share development pages before going live so need this ASAP.

Yep, that's the new-ish Real Time Preview that uses Adobe's servers to show you your page as you work.

You can go back to Open in Browser/Preview in Browser pretty easily though.

1. Go to Edit > Preferences
2. Select the Real Time Preview category on the left hand side of the dialogue window
3. Check the box for "Default to Static Browser Preview"

I don't use them a lot but Real-Time Preview & Device Preview are handy for some things. See link below for details.

Mostly, I use right-click on an open tab and select Open in Browser. See screenshot.

Open in BrowserOpen in Browser

Or do as Jon suggested to permanently change the F12 shortcut from Preferences.  Your choice.
