Just installed DW 19.2. Why does it take a full minute to open a 64k css file? And almost as long to select-all and copy the same file? Come on Adobe!

Hi Harshika,

Thanks for reaching out. I did a restart and it did help speed things up. I've been a DW user since Macromedia. I do a lot of work on a Win 10 pc, copying file content from DW to Notepad on remote servers. It seems like the last few DW revisions have gotten slower and slower with these simple text handling processes. I'll keep the restart fix in mind

Hi there,

We're sorry for the frustration. I understand I would feel the same way in your situation. A few more details would be super helpful like: -

  • Are you on Windows or Mac?
  • Have you tried Restarting the system? If no, could you please restart the computer and try to launch the file again and share the results with us.

Awaiting your response.

Thanks,

Harshika
