Lag in code view

Hi there,

For some reason, when I'm in code view in Dreamweaver, there is a lag when I try to type or highlight etc.

I have noticed this for a while but it seems to be getting worse. I don't think it is my RAM as I have restarted and only have DW open and it still happens.

Does anyone know if this is a bug or anything I can do to resolve this?

I only have my editor open along with the files panel without any properties windows.

Thanks!

Hi,

We are investigating the issue internally and have found the root-cause of the same.

Please let us know if the below work-around resolves the code view lag issue.

  1. Quit Dw and open Registry Editor in Windows (Start menu -> type registry editor OR type regedit in Run window)
  2. Go to the path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver 2020\
  3. Delete "Temp File List" folder (*before deleting the folder, recommend taking backup of the same by right clicking on the folder and Export)

Thanks
