... is mostly hanging - waiting takes to much time, I have to manually refresh. annoying...

e.g. if a new file (image) has been saved (from photoshop) in a local content website folder, then switching directly in DW 2017, it takes more than 7-10 seconds to see the file in the file view / local content tab appearing.

is this normal?

thx for your help.

Hitting F5 (or the Refresh icon in the bottom left of the Files Window) should refresh it immediately, but yes, without hitting F5, it can take a few seconds for the Files Window to list a new file added from outside of DW.
