If I open a page that I know the links are working on in "Preview" the links don't work. Is this normal in DW 2020 or is it something to do with how I set up DW and my site?

Do your links work when uploaded to your remote server?

Site root relative links /folder/filename.htm may not work locally because they drill down to your computer's primary hard drive.  But they typically work just fine on the server.

Document relative links ../folder/folder/filename.html typically work locally and on the server.

Yes, the links work fine when I put them up on the remote server when I preview all I get at the top of the browser where the url would be is 127.0.0.1.

I just thought it was something to do with the way I set DW up. My site folder lives on my desktop.

Real-Time Preview can be a nuisance sometimes.  I have disabled it in my Preferences.

Right-click on open tab.  Select Open in Browser

Does that work better for you?
