Hello,
We are trying to connect Dreamweaver to our web server.
It's an https// site.
We can successfully connect to it using CyberDuck WebDAV(HTTPS) selection.
When we try to use the same credentials in Dreamweaver we get the following error:
"
An HTTP WebDAV error occurred. Dreamweaver cannot get a listing for the
folder you specified. Make sure you have proper authorization on the server, and
the server is properly configured.
"
Dreamweaver appears to only have a WebDAV(HTTP) selection and not a WebDAV(HTTPS) selection, but we are still allowed to enter in an https address, so I do not know if this is a concern. Does DW not have a WebDAV(HTTPS) option and maybe this is the problem? If so, does anyone know if this option is going to be added?
We're in our 14 day trial and can't even get started. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Did you read this entire help article?

DW is web authoring software, not a dedicated S/FTP client. With some hosting environments, DW works very well. With other hosts not so much. If DW won't connect, it's no great tragedy. Just use Cyberduck.
