Trouble with highlighting / editing in code view

Hi all,

With dreamweaver CC  v18

I am having trouble when I click (in code window) - inside a span tag - such as inside the class tag.... when I do, then the whole span tag gets highlighted and I can not see the cursor as I move the arrows left / right to see where I am so I can edit properly.

Q: Is there a setting somewhere to make it easier to see the cursor and maybe get the highlighting to be easier to use (or vanish)?

How messy do you want to get your hands with the files that run DW's themes?

This guy made a very nice set of themes that get rid of that issue, among others and they're pretty easy to install using Adobe's knowledgebase article:

Learn how you can customize the colors of your code elements in Dreamweaver.

(replace all the code of a duplicate theme with the new theme code and save)
