Unable to ftp to Adobe BC websites using DW 2014

Hi all. I am unable to ftp to Adobe BC websites using DW2014.

This is a recent occurrence.

I can connect fine in Site/Manage Sites when I test the password.

When I then go to the Files panel to connect the site and FTP the connection fails.

Does anyone have an idea why this would now be the case?

In 2018, Adobe announced the end of Business Catalyst.  Adobe will stop hosting existing sites on Business Catalyst on March 26th, 2020. Adobe encourages all customers to download their data and migrate to other web hosts well before the March 26th, 2020 cut-off.

Hi Nancy I am well aware of that. I have migrated 80 out of the 120 websites I had on Adobe BC to other platforms over the last 20 months since the announcement. I still have a year to migrate the remaining 40 websites.

During this time I have been able to use DW2014 to backup the old Adobe BC sites before deleting them. Today I can't do that. Not sure what has changed.

Maybe your site definition is corrupted and needs to be set-up again.

I never used BC hosting platform so I don't know much about it.  Sorry.
