Hi

I would like to ask if it is possible to upload files attached to a template, at the update stage?

I continually have to go and seek the files attached in my file menu and manually upload them to the server.

Something like this...example I have created....

If there is a way of doing this could anyone advise me

Regards

Norris

There is no other way when using DWT. Have a look here to get some understanding of the system How to edit, update, and delete templates in Dreamweaver.

If you want to continue using The Dreamweaver Template system, this could be a great option Better includes | templates | framework for Dreamweaver | WebAssist. Using this extension you upload the template only while the child documents are updated automatically.

Another way, is to use server-side includes.(SSI's). Have a look here for more info Apache httpd Tutorial: Introduction to Server Side Includes - Apache HTTP Server Version 2.4

What do I use? PHP-includes!
